We are looking for two new voluntary board members to join our team:
– Interim VP Membership (until Annual General Meeting in early 2022)
– Deputy VP Events, to support our current VP Events, Priti Ruparel. Planning is underway for our Export Awards to be held in-person in early 2022. Also planning for virtual webinars in Fall 2021.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop board governance skills for non-profit organizations. New board members will draw on a range of experience, talents and a keen interest in international trade and/or women’s economic empowerment. No previous experience needed. These two positions could incorporate a role as VP Educational Partnerships.
You’ll need to be a member of OWIT-Toronto or join within a few days of being appointed to this position. See our membership page for benefits. If you’re not a member, but are interested in these positions, contact us to discuss further.

Join the Organization of Women in International Trade (OWIT-Toronto) to celebrate three outstanding women – an export champion, an exporter of the year, and a student of international trade.
This year, our awards will be presented virtually. Our Awards team has been working hard to put together a unique online event. There will be opportunities, pre- and post- the awards ceremony, to enjoy the kind of high-calibre networking with like-minded women that OWIT is known for. Participants will also have the chance to win an amazing door prize of jewellery from Jewels4ever.
And, we guarantee you’ll walk away inspired by the recipients of our annual awards honouring the outstanding achievements of thriving women. Although we miss not having our awards ceremony and gala as one live event, we look forward to meeting everyone in person next fall! (Fingers crossed.)
In the meantime, grab a glass of champagne to toast our Award winners and join us online on November 25.
